To Beth and Kyle.

Both of you have very good reasonings, but the answer is

C: The water level became lower.

Reasoning: While the bricks are in the boat, the buoyant force supports the boat, student, and bricks. When the bricks are thrown into the water and sink to the bottom of the pool, the buoyant force supports mainly the boat and student, since the bricks are now supported by the bottom of the pool. (There is a small buoyant force on the brick due to the volume of water they displace, but it small compared to the weight of the bricks.) Since the buoyant force supports less weight with the bricks in the pool, less volume of water is displaced, and the pool water level decreases.

ah, hehehehe. ok. That makes sense!
Pero wow, that's quite a huge pool that accomodates a boat, isn't it?
Kyle, I guess we'll do our assignments more next time :)

A bear walks south for one kilometer, then it walks west for one kilometer, then it walks north for one kilometer and ends up at the same point from which it started. What color was the bear? and why?

It is a polar bear; the only reason why the bear is limited to 1km in the said direction because that is the area of the North Pole.

The North Pole and arctic region is the natural niche of the polar bears; they evolved in that region.

But you are using a scenario that is an act of God.

can you give us a scenario which is not an act of God? para ma discuss nato with physics? hehehehehe

philosophically, almost everything is an act of God, including why the chicken crossed the street. hehehehe

Brilliant refute!

Bravo! ;)
