NEW 24-HOUR WORLD RECORD!!
Last year, Lithuania’s

Aleksandr Sorokin broke the “unbreakable” 24-Hour World Record set by Yiannis Kouros - 188.590 miles / 303.506 km. The mark was untouched for 25 years! Sorokin finished with 192.251 miles / 309.399 km.
This weekend, he smashed his own world record.
In Verona, Italy at the European Championships, Sorokin set an aggressive pace from the
onset with a 2:50 marathon… in the rain.
He bested his previous mark by over six miles- finishing with an astounding 198.598 miles / 319.614 km (official).
That’s a 7:15 min/mile pace (4:30 min/KM).

BRAVO to Aleksandr and his entire team!!
