THE DEPARTMENT OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS (DFA) reissued its travel advisory to Bangkok, Thailand, Saturday in view of the escalating incidents of violence there.
“The department has strongly advised Filipinos to postpone non-essential travel to Thailand, particularly the capital city Bangkok,†the advisory said.
“Filipinos who are already in Thailand are advised to avoid all areas where anti-government rallyists continue to congregate and stage their protest,†it added.
At least 29 people were killed and 110, including security personnel, injured in clashes between antigovernment protesters and security forces in the Thai capital Friday, online reports said.
