Super scary. A lot of my relatives discourage me to go there actually, because they say it's a land where witchcraft is intense. The place exudes such beauty in nature, but you'll be scared with their witchcraft lifestyle. ~ I hope this is wrong.

Siquijor is the magical and mystical island of the Philippines and also called Island of Fire.Magical in every angle, Siquijor in general is an idyllic tropical paradise purely sustained by nature itself.The island is famous for mangkukulam, healers or sorcerers-individuals who treat ailments and cast maleficent spells.Siquijor is said to have magic potions, shamans, sorcerers and witches - and a lot of Filipinos will not stay overnight on this island because of this superstition. For me it just makes the trip more exiting and I enjoyed my overnight stay in Siquijor.

given the chance, i would like to live in siquijor.  never had i been to a place of gentler people.

I knew about Siquijor from my fellow bikers were  good enough for trail biking and potential destination for ninjas, I want to explore these places in mystical island.

  - Mt. Bandilaan, the highest place in the island of Siquijor
  - Belltower at Larena
  - Old Balite Tree at Campalanas, Lazi
  - St. Isidore Labradore Church and Lazi Convent
  - and more..
