NHK, the biggest television network in Japan will bring its crew to highlight the islets off Talibon and Getafe towns in a program dubbed as "Voyage to the Future."
Masao Nidaira, executive producer of the show arrived yesterday in Mahaba islet to finalize preparations for the arrival of the TV crew together with some students from various Asian countries.
The Japanese TV producer was accompanied by Edgar Reyes of National Broadcasting Network abd Junta Shinozawa, project manager of business development department of International Employment Business Group.
Gov Erico Aumentado, Talibon Mayor Juanario Item and Kagawad Item welcomed the Japanese nationals yesterday afternoon together with Prov'l Tourism Council Chair Peter Dejaresco, PNP Prov'l Director Edgardo Ingking and Jo Cabarus, prov'l tourism officer.
The group will also visit the famous Banacon mangrove plantation and other nearby islets.
Aside from Bohol, the group will also visit Apo island in Negros Or. and will proceed to Palawan. In Luzon, Puerto Galera will likewise be featured. - source: The Bohol Chronicle
