Peacock Garden Luxury Resort Opens in Bohol

Tourism Secretary Ace Durano will arrive here on Friday to lead dignitaries during the opening of The Peacock Garden Luxury Resort & Spa, nestled on a hilltop in historic Baclayon town.

Sec. Durano will be joined by Rep. Edgar Chatto, chairman of the House committee on tourism and Gov. Erico Aumentado during the grand opening rites set 3 p.m. this Friday.

The resort owned by Hans & Lani Schoof will be the latest addition to the high-end resorts in the province. 
Peacock Garden provides a breathtaking view of the sea facing Pamilcan Island, the islet famous for dolphin watching. Its well appointed 40 rooms assures an elegant stay as the peacock epitomizes the resort’s distinct take on “East meets West.”  European art and interiors meets Filipino warmth and hospitality.

Peacock Garden provides the first “fine dining” experience here with its German chef who can assure every dinner of an excellent dining experience.

Nice to hear another progressive development for tourism...i hope that they have an affordable prices not like in that another Luxury resort and Spa in Panglao, "ESKAYA", only for the rich people. Had for 2 hours Spa services somewhere near K of C...I had paid for that very satisfactory services (foot spa, whole body scrubbing, shower and whole body massage), reasonable price of  790 Pesos . That was a third catergory in their offered services, the highest one with facial scrub and massage and etc. it is 200 Pesos more. They have well-trained personnel (man for man and lady for lady customers). I highly recommend that clean business establishment. Ladies be there and enjoy that holiday feelings :D

Hello Willmerit, sorry... I didn't take notice the name of that SPA center coz i just discovered it after Mama's Dr. examination in Ramiro hospital. Subaya lang nang road way to Pantalan, at the left side,  it is short after sa eskina sa
K of C church.  There is a new hotel and restaurant, that Beauty Spa center/establishment is downstairs.  I compared it to BQ Spa, they are a bit cheaper (my younger sister is their permanent customer).....normally, you must have an appointment but they immediately gave their attention and care while asking some infos. Enjoy...really very relaxing, nawala god ahong mga panuhot sa very professional whole body massage.

it's pretty and not as expensive as Eskaya.
But I doubted if I wanna stay there.

Thanks B. for the website.....I heard about this very rich German man, Mr. Hans Schoof from Esa, one of our TB member also get married with a German pensionist.  I never have a chance to meet him in person. I think his wife is from that place.  This is really very romantic and nice, the building, the area, the settings  but I believe it has the same price with Escaya Spa.  Grabe sa presyo. :o..it is only the overnights, it will not cover with the Spa services for sure. Never in dreams....i will spend my nights there.

I have heard about the owner and it wasn't good.

Beth, what do you mean that you heard about the owner and it wasn't good.  I always read their names in the news and that Mr. Hans is a philanthropist.  Is this not true?

I looked at the link of the website you gave in an earlier post.  Wow, the cheapest room is 7000 pesos!  I don't know much about hotel accommodations in Bohol but it seems like this resort is not for ordinary people.

Grace, yes he is. As what I read about his interview in a thread here somewhere, he seems like a nice man and a close friend of Mayor Lim.
