My husband does this prior to taking off but I find this very stressful. Because it limits your conversation and there are too many things going on around you, like settling down on your seat, taking care of your handcarry and just getting comfy. It is definitely a no, no, for Mommies on the go. I don't dare doing this unless it is extremely important phone call.
How about ... making phone calls prior to boarding the plane.
