Stakeholders of the famous Loboc River Cruise is using the word enchantment to describe the experience of making a leisure navigation up the famous Loboc River during night time.
This is possible starting July 18 when night cruises will be allowed for the first time after a P10 million lighting facility goes in full throttle.
Amidst the streak of blazing lights from both sides of the river banks, the enchantment hooves into view as soon as the night trekkers reach the portion of the river where lush vegetation looms in the direction of the Busay Falls.
A philanthropist who is the special envoy to China drew from his own pocket the P10 million to make night time cruise of the mighty Loboc River a possibility.
Since then, Ambassador Carlos Chan became a regular fixture in any Loboc undertaking that needs financial assistance.
It was through the true grit of Loboc Mayor Leon Calipusan that make things happen for the town’s top tourist attraction, of course, with Mr. Chan as principal patron.
Providing the entertainment fare of the night launching of the Loboc river cruise are its homegrown Loboc Children’s Choir and Loboc Youth Band.
The launching ceremonies will be held at the Loboc’s Children’s Palace another project built along the river bank fronting the historic Loboc church and through the courtesy of Mr. Chan.
With the entry of the Village Resto and Cruises, a night time trip along Loboc’s waterway is an experience billed as more enchanting.
The Village boat cruises, now managed by travel and tour guru Walter Sultan, are so far the authorized bancas to make use of the night time trek at the magically lighted Loboc River.
