The New York City subway system is one of the few to run nonstop, day and night, 365 days a year. More than five million commuters ride the subway every weekday, nearly three million on Saturdays and almost two-and-a-half million on Sundays. The first underground line of New York's rapid transit subway system opened one hundred and five years ago. Its first route ran from City Hall to W. 145th Street. Some of the ceramic tile art work which decorated the station at the subway's opening still exists today. Paintings, sculptures, mosaics and murals continue to decorate the subway lines and stations. Musicians and street entertainers provide entertainment at the stations. Competing for high-traffic locations for their performances, they audition through the Music Under New York program.

ang mga subway trains are named with alphabet letters (A, B, C, etc) and numbers; my regular route before was train 7 then transfer to
train A...abot na sa ofis sa NY

. you only pay same amount $2/1 way regarless of the length of your trip.

currently, nag ka lisod2x ang mga riders kay daghn changes sa ruta sa mga trains og nag cut down sab ang uban rides

but interesting ang mga subway stations, kay naay mga tiled arts & decor

cons: bad3p lng makatapad nimo ang homeless...perti ka baho

i used to work part time in the wee hours of the early morning before...ang ahong maka tagbo permi sa subway pag kadlawon na kasagaran mga asians og mga mexicans....the real working class:
mga mexicanos tig abre og limpio sa mga resto, mga instik mag andam sa ilng stores, mga pinay nurses nga nag overtym

mahadlok jud ko sa subway sa NYC kay pila ka levels! sus kuno ug motaas ang tubig sa dagat noh??? nakasakay baja o ana back and forth sa upper ug lower manhattan para lang jud maka experience! tuod man murag hadlok jud ang mga station tan awon kay tuay sa taas tua sad sa ubos pila ka levels... simbako10x lang jud tawon ug naay anthax sus unsaon nalang pag gawas!!! GOD FORBID!!!

Di jud ko pwede sa NYC Jams! mo relocate man unta ko didto sa una kay naay trabaho dayun pujo ko sa NJ but i just cant handle the chaos in the big Epol!

Gusto pud unta ko mosakay anang subway pero claustrophobic man ko so di ko magsilbi diay ani Bella kay pagbasa lang nako sa imong gi describe murag naglisod na ko ug ginhawa hehhehe. Pag visit namo sa Windy City last time nakakita ko naay subway pero wa ko modayon ug sakay kay underground man nahadlok ko basin kuyapan ko didto.

hehehe kanang multi-levels, jutay lang na cla, morag centro sa mga main streets nga daghn og direksyon mao mag abot ang mga trains gikan sa north, south, east west, dha nindot mo transfer kay daghn trains lain2x levels...bisag unsang tunnel hadlok na man jud labi nag naay moabot nga dagkong train nga morag mouyog ang tanan...di man kahadlokan ang infrastructure sa trains, unless jud og claustrophobic ka
