Greetings!

I joined this site to ask for assistance. I read the previous stories and i guess this site can help me. okie..i my story goes like this!

...I had a foreign boyfriend lets just call him GC. Our planned before is he will be the one to visit me in our country but then there are some unexpected problems occured. So, weve decided that instead he will visit me here...i will be the one who will go to US for us to meet. So, he sends me money to get the requirements for the passport. then, we have to get the visa..im searching now or trying to look for the best visa that will suit to my situation. I cant get the fiancee visa since his divorce papers are not yet over. is it best for me to use the Tourist visa to go to US? what if they will ask me what i will do in US...should i answer i want to see my boyfriend and see some good spots of US? do you think they will approved my application with that answer? how long should i wait to have the visa?

i really wanna go to US to see my boyfriend because its the only prove that i really love him..but we dont have plans yet to get married.
im looking forward for you advise. hope you will help me?

it is so difficult to get a visa dha sa pinas... an example ani kay akong friend who works sa provincial capitol as a regular employee and is kwartahan kay all of her family members are in the states na. when she applied for a tourist visa, she was denied. the reason was why she has a lot of money with no business of her own and to think her salary daw sa capitol is perteng gamaya. the consul did not listen to her explanation nga tigpadala iyang mga siblings niya.
for tourist visa, it is best if you can show proof nga when you go to the states, can afford ka dli kay magsalig ka...

THey both right cebu girl..u know i have aunt i was the one chat guy for her..the guy went here and meet up with her just couple of days and back to US.after that my aunt went to USA alone for a fiancee Visa and get married there and she was there for 5 years now.. Fiancee works for her.. I dont think your case you can go to USA for waht ever visa with out your BF came here first... only 15 percent.. Invite him here ...ang know each other..and wait until his papers done ..for me thats the best thing to do.. trust me.

Four years ago, mys sister wanted to come here as tourist to personally see a guy she met online. She was asking my help to process her papers, and some money to back her financial standing. But I encouraged her to invite her BF to visit Phils and file a fiance visa. Now they are married.

BESIDES WHY ARE YOU WASTING YOUR TIME ON SOMEONE THAT IS MARRIED? Find someone that has no garbage. About love, I dont think so......

Yup, I agree to this...but if you're hell bent on going there, if you're a college grad or a four year course degree holder, I know someone, who could arrange for a J1 visa (training visa of from 4 months to 2 yrs for nurses), but the amounts are quite stiff...if interested I could forward you the number and office, I have to clear it out first from the operator...

yes this is true and mao ni ang reason nga wala koy guts mu-adto sa US.. getting a visa diri sa China for US is very easy especially og foreign teacher ka.. but listening to my friends and relatives talk about insurances, bills, etc, ajo pa ari rako sa china kay anyways, i can go home 2x a year

Lagi ba, my sister is only 4 years in the States and she is talking of going home. She said she is trired of unlimited bills.

Anna maayo kapa diha hayahay..America sus paeta mao nga u got wise decission to stay there.....ang naa diha sa Pinas maka ingon ug lami America...I work all over the world before i decided in US ..thats why i know theres a big difference.diha sa China barato tanan.nindot pa suruyan sa mga parks and resorts.i work in Shenzhen Guangdong and Guangzhou the capital of Guangdong Province.then trasfer to another 3 countries.after 4 years balik ko work diha sa China sa Sanya,Hainan naman ako...outside US maayo kaayo ang China mag work.barato tanan.mag negosyo ka diha ug mangga.di ba diha sa China sikat kaayo ka ug makakaon ug mangga.mopalit na sila ug mangga tag 5 boxes pas-an sinangay nila oi.sa Guangzhou 1kilometer ang mga tindahan diha ug manga before airport nag galumbay tanan manga gikan sa Pilipinas..ngita ka kasosyo diha kompra ka manga sa Bohol.

Sa atua ug kwartahan ka permi gyud karne karne pero ug igo igo ra ang sweldo makakarne lagi pero tagsa ra or sagulan daghan gulay or sabwon aron maangay. Diri ra ko kita nga ang karne naay sale ug ang mga pagkaon pwede i mark down ang presyo.
Way dato way pobre diri ngan ug pagkaon kay puro man affordable.

How is the cost of food like in Western Europe diay? Is there really that much of a discrepancy in terms of cost of living and salary rates?

I have been to the former Soviet Union Republics: The Ukraine and Belarus during college for an exchange program, and the cost of living there was quite affordable. 1 US dollar was equivalent to 5 Hrivinia and was enough. The average Ukrainian was making about 65 dollars a month, and so cost of living there was rather affordable. The people were very hospitable and accepting despite my poor proficiency in Russian/Ukrainian and Cyrillic.

i am very much welcomed and well-respected here maybe because i am a teacher. so far, the people that i have met are very, very accommodating but being open-minded, i am not so sure because before i came here, i was advised not to talk about politics, sex and religion...
