Bad weather prompted the cancellation of three flights in southern Philippines on Monday afternoon, largest budget carrier Cebu Pacific Air said.
In an advisory, CebuPacific stated that "Please note that the following flights have been cancelled due to bad weather:
5J785D/785D MNL-Butuan-MNL
5J877/878 CEB-Siargao-CEB
5J223/224 CEB-Butuan-CEB
"Affected passengers will be accommodated on the next available flights. We place top priority in your safety. Thanks you for your understanding," it added.
The state weather said there is no tropical cyclone in the country but the rain-inducing weather system called tail end of a cold front near Bicol has been inundating nearby areas since the start of the weekend. (PNA)
