Car Loses All Four Wheels On Highway

ZURICH (Reuters) - A car traveling on a motorway in Switzerland lost all four wheels simultaneously, coming to an immediate halt in the middle of the highway, police said on Saturday.

The car had just stopped and the passengers had changed from winter to summer wheels themselves, a common task in Switzerland where there is plenty of snow in winter, but used the wrong nuts when mounting the new set.

"When they then drove back on to the motorway, all of the wheels disconnected," St Gallen cantonal police said in a statement. "Luckily, no one was injured and no other vehicle was damaged."

In Poland, a country nga known nga hapit tanan k******n. I have a workmate, she comes from Poland and used to visit her parents who are still residing there. Two years ago, while their visit with a very new Mercedez Benz, being afraid that it will be stolen, her husband slept inside the car. The following morning, he was happy awake inside the car and to his surprised...."all four wheels were stolen" (gi-tongtong nalang ug woods)

That sounds more like something that I would have done, is to use the wrong lug nuts but if he was taxying to the track then he was at a snails pace and that was a good thing.

Yes people it is time to change your studded tires back to regular treaded tires.

But still be cautious when driving on the roads after a lon drive spell due to heavy oil slipperness. (low traction) it is worst then driing on black ice in most cases.
