The evergreen river and virgin ornaments that abound the scenic
Loboc River can now be better appreciated by tourists from cable car and a zipline.
This with the launching yesterday of the P4.7 million Loboc Eco-Tourism Adventure Park which adventure activities would cross the scenic Loboc River where the famous floating restaurants abound.
The zipline which is the second to Danao's EAT (Eco-Adventure Tour) will cross the 520-meter distance from barangay Gotozon to barangay Himili-an, giving tourists a perfect bird's eye view of the river and its river banks. The Busay falls at the upper end of the famous Loboc River Cruise is captured with a full overview when one takes the zipline or the cable car.
The
cable car traverses a distance of 420 meters.
Both activities assure tourists of the best scenery at a height of between 100 to 120 meters over the river.
Re-elected Mayor Leon Calipusan led town officials in welcoming guests during yesterday's soft opening together with former Rep. Eladio Jala taking the inaugural ran of the cable car.
The opening of the Loboc Eco-Tourism Adventure Park is the second of the same concept in the province.
Danao pioneered this adventure-type of a destination. Aside from the zipline, Danao takes pride of "The Plunge," the first and only in the country today. Other activities in Danao are root climbing, caving, kayaking and river tubing. - bohol chronicle
