A contestant from the University of Bohol garnered 16 points of 30 items to best other contestants in the recently conducted school-based tourism quiz held at the activity Center of the Island City Mall Sept 27.
Aimee Alegarbes, a UB BS tourism student, who also happens to be a practicing Bohol tour guide took the prize in a quiz participated in by UB, Holy Name University, Crystal E College, Bohol Island State University and Mater Dei College of Tubigon.
Participating schools are those who offer tourism and allied courses.
Romping with the second and third places are Holy Name University’s Ronald Eric Gudito and Johanna Marie Arancon.
The tourism quiz forms part of the national celebrations of the tourism month and biodiversity. (PIA)
