Yes, I don't quite get your drift when you say they are "pre-made" when they are all using Minima. Please, enlighten me.
When I say "pre-made" it has nothing to do with minima or what-have-you. I don't know how else to explain.
Normally when I start a blog, I decide early how many pages would be on it and I make the pages at the same time (for the sake of looks) and uniformity of the URL (they only differ in numbers) at the very beginning. Let's say, if I want to create a 60 page-blog, I'll create the first 60 pages at one time (with a URL of my choosing, e.g. song title or a page number). Then after I created the pages, I'll put contents. That's what I meant by "pre-made." In other words, it's not blogging/writing/posting as one goes along like many would do.
SO... if I write a new blog, update or change a page's content... the date of update won't even register as new update because the URL or pages had already been pre-determined since the start. So mora lang gehapog wa mag update even though there's a constant change in content. (e.g.,
http://tagbilarancitydreampoetry.blogspot.com/). So, how would you determine if that particular blog has updated or not, unless your monitoring them? No way, di ba?
On the other hand, since I'm song blogging most of the time, then pages normally don't change as they are on a permanent basis presentation... not unless a new song is being posted. (See
http://christianartsongs.blogspot.com/)... so hardly any update is possible here, but that doesn't mean a dead blog at all. Another example is the T.B.T.K. which is a triennial event (occuring only every three years!) but that doesn't make it a dead blog either... if not updated every month or so. (See
http://tigumbolanontibuokkalibutan.blogspot.com/). And yet it's still a reputable Bol-anon blog... esp. during reunion time!!!
I'm not trying to critique what you're trying to do here for the sake of plain critiquing. In fact, I'm giving you food for thoughts because I want you to be successful... because your idea (like I said many times) is very good and noble. So please don't take it personally. I understand clearly about filtering spams or phishing sites (that's a no-brainer), but the many Boholano-handled sites you were trying to invite to take part of your sojourn... that's what I want you to encourage to include (or not miss out). Don't limit them because of some "rule" (not about spamming/phishing ones)... that you're still trying to decide on, e.g. frequency of updates.
I hope my explanation are better this time...
