As an expression of generosity, the Tigum Bol-anon sa Tibuok Kalibutan (TBTK) headed by Ma. Elizabeth Veloso-Garcia, chairperson, through the Mrs. Bohol International 2009 pageant spearheaded by Councilor Anne Mariquit Derikito-Oppus, turned over the donation of P150,000.00 to the Bohol Crisis Intervention Center (BCIC) which gives temporary shelter to battered women and abused children, as one if its beneficiaries. The BCIC is a government facility that started operations in March 2002, according to center manager Carmelita M. Tecson. Holding the donation are Provincial Board Member Aster Apalisok-Piollo and newly-crowned Mrs. Bohol International 2009 Rosario Bunac-Soy (third and fourth from left, respectively) witnessed by Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Constancia O.
