Hi Atty. Handel,

Some say Pandanon belongs to Cebu; some say it is one of Bohol's islets.
To be honest, I haven't heard of this island until I posted its picture in Tubag Bohol.

If its the Pandanon Island near Getafe, then it belongs to bohol because this island is one ofthe islands in Getafe. I was a fiesta goer when I was still in bohol, and i've been here on this island every year.. lol mamistahay gud ko no(baga jud oi basta pista nay hisgutan).

Na1 ambot lang kay, sure man jud ko nga belong na sa Getafe, nya nganong Cebu man maoy nakabutang sa internet. Sa ato pa, giangkon rana sa taga-Cebu nya gipublish pa jud sa internet

para wala confusion: Pandanon belongs to Getafe bohol and then on the eastern tip fronting getafe is the said beach it is owned by Ouano family of mandaue . Thats why they are claiming it as part of cebu to add publicity,, As we all know business is like this:::::

As per the Philippine Law, nobody owns the shoreline, sea, rivers and lakes. When you buy a land, you own the surface of the land up to the sky. Below it is the property of the Government. If there is gold in your land, it is not yours but the governments. You will be shared a certain percent.

If you have a banka, you may anchor it in front of the BBC without breaking the law and go swimming. It is OK as long as you will not use their facility.

Provincial boundaries are already defined and can not be changed. The question is are the Ouanos paying taxes in Jetafe or Cebu. I doubt if they are paying taxes at all.

Yap Bambi. The easiest and nearest way to go to Pandanon is via Jetafe town sa ila port adto didto nimo makita ila mga pumboat pasaheroan o pwede nimo pakyawon. Or you pass Pasil cebu fish port naa pirmi sakyanan kadaudto ang biyahe ang name sa pumpboat Mv Anegar. Or pwede pod ka agi bueanavista bohol town kay doul ra pod pero magpakyaw lang ka pumpboat. pero mas nindot ang nalusoan island beach kaysa pandanon beach. Kon adto ka sa cebu imo maagian ang nalusoan beach og ang cabul-an island pulos ni sila mga nindot nga isla. Ang nalusoan walay mga tawo nga nagpuyo pure jud nga isla ra nga run by Mendoza family of Cebu. try and enjoy island hoping.

ang pandanon beach walay accomodation pulos lang ni sya beach og gagmay nga nipa hut. Kon moadto ka ligo unya uli pod dayon. kon gusto jud ka matulog adto ka nalusoan beach mga 2,000 pesos per night unya daghan pod mga foreigners. im sure you will really enjoy this island. You can see a lot of tamed fishes touchable by bare hands. Og kon gusto jud ka mas social gamay adto ka sa Mactan island kay doul ra mani sa Cordova marigondon Punta engano mga 1 hour ride ra by pumpboat. Another option is to go to cabul-an island and pangitaa ako balay didto free accomodation... hahahahahaaa

Pandanon is still a part of bohol. Wala ni sya palita. Pandanon is a barangay of Jetafe hangtod karon wa pa mausab.

you are a Pandanon island expert, as observed. Are you living in Jetafe or in a nearby towns....I came from Inabanga but stayed there until I was 11 years old.

Sus..Doy kalayo kana diay ron? Where is your Family now? Also there in Africa? I hope you like it there but Africa is too big, hope you are in South Africa! In Kapstadt or Johannesburg? I heard it is a very nice area.

I resided in barrio Lutao before and then we immigrate

to Tagbilaran for schooling and where I had a good job before. I've been living 28 years already in Germany but since yr.2000 been yearly home due to my old Mother. During my childhood, I was only up a "tabo-tabo" short before Buenavista...OMG...not easy getting old I just forgot the name of that big market there. I used to buy "saguran" for matt weaving ( I mean habolon ni Lola sa una para Banig) which Inabanga's still source of livelihood. We have also some relatives there in Lapinig island, Talibon not yet been there even fiesta.

One of my former Chiefs was Fiscal Jacinto Bautista, he originated from Clarin and his Family are already residing in Lindaville. I guess, his two sons are also now a successful lawyers. Do you know them?

Ive been in Johanesburg for a year and in Mozambique for 6 years and recently am here in Tanzania the most wonderful place for Safari in Africa.If your from Lutao we are just so close coz Im from Pob. Centro clarin. yap I knew bautista family coz we are just neigbour and they are very influencial persons in our place.
