Another country that I'd like to visit is definitely Mexico. Areas that I'd like to visit in Mexico include Mexico City (Districto Federal), and the Aztec sites in central and eastern Mexico. A mixture of pre-hispanic Meso-American and Spanish architecture......Mexico.
My interest in Mexico is purely historical as well as cultural attraction. As one who is an avid reader of Filipino history, Mexico or as it was known by Imperial Spain as 'Nuevo Espana' (New Spain) and the Philippine Islands were actually placed in judicial administration by the Viceroyalty of New Spain. The historic Galleon Trade of Mexico and the Philippines was one that developed both nations (rich and spices of the Philippines were used to build the ports of Vera Cruz and Accapulco--as well as filled the pockets of the Spanish). Historically, since the colonization of the Philippines by Spain in 1565 till the independence of Mexico from Spain in 1821, the Philippines and New Spain (Mexico) was one political entity in the greater sphere of the Spanish Empire.

17th century Mexican Cathedral in Verana, Mexico
-The architecture is that of classic Spanish architecture during the Baroque Era (firmly influenced by Milanese architecture); one notices that it is similar to that of the Qiapao Church in the Philippines.

Qiapao Church in Philippines of similar architecture as in Mexico.
