Biblically, the priesthood was given to the tribe of Levi, wala gidili nga dili magminyo
pulos sila mga minyo, usa sa mga priest nga gitawag nga man of God si Eli
siya minyo ug daghan mga anak.
Now, bahin sa Roman Catholic priesthood, naghimo silag rules ug
I let the readers check out the reason why, ug nga gidili magminyo
Historically, there are reports of papal immorality, some of the popes were so depraved and base
in their actions, even people who professed no religion at all were ashamed of them.
Such sins as adultery, sodomy, simony, rape, murder and drunkenness.
To link such sins with men who have claimed to be the Holy Father and the Vicar of Christ.
Pope Sergius III (904-911)- obtained the papal office by murder, he bore several illegitimate
children in open sin with Marozia. Described by Gregorovius as a terrorizing criminal
described by Baronius as a monster.
He reign for 7 years whiles his concubine and her Semiramis-like mother held court with
pomp and voluptuousness that recalled the worse days of the ancient empire.
Pope John X (914-928) - Theodora the mother of Pope Sergius supported John's election to papacy
to cover up her illicit relations with him.
Marozia the concubine of pope Sergius smothered John to death, she wanted him out of the way
so Leo VI (928-929) could become pope.
His reign was short for he was assassinated by Marozia when she learned he had given his
heart to a more degraded woman than herself.
John XI - the teenage son of Marozia and pope Sergius became pope, but in quarreling with some
of his mother's enemies, he was beaten and put into jail where he died from poisoning.
John XII -(955) the grandson of Marozia became pope at eighteen years of age.
Catholic Encyclopedia describes him as a course, immoral man, whose life was such that the Lateran
was spoken of as a brothel.
Fifty Italian and German bishops convened in St Peter's; John was accused of sacrilege, simony,
perjury, murder, adultery and incest.
John died on 14 of May 964, eight days after stricken with paralysis in the act of adultery.
Pope Boniface (984-985)- maintained his position through a lavish distribution of stolen money.
These are just few among numerous recorded immoralities among the popes
but the point I"m trying to emphasize here nga it's not only some of the priests are doing it
kon dili ang uban sad nga lider sa ibabaw.
In fairness of those who keep their vocation at heart, please be it known, wala mo apil ani nga linya ha?
