The lines came from Dandan Bantugan, who is today, an elected city councilor and a “lawyer.†He felt amused in particular on the recent move of his fellow city councilor Djingo Rama who was at the center of a media spin after he voted for a non-party member as chairman on the powerful committee on appropriation.
Rama’s vote stirred the feelings of city mayor Dan Lim, and as usual, being always true to himself, the city mayor lambasted Rama on the air in his Saturday radio program.
Rama claimed he is on a “crusade†to infuse check and balance in the city government and that he would work for the interest of the people in fulfillment to his sworn mandate as an elected city official...
...In fact, Dandan would tell us he failed passing the bar exams for the __th time and would gamely laugh with everybody teasing him with the tag LLB; a connotation that means “labi-labing bulokaâ€. But he is a guy that never says die...
