nganong gitugutan man sa mga taga Talibon ang kuhaan sila og BALAS, angay unta og wala sila nisugot kay bahandi gud na nila unya ipanghatag nalang diay.
Hmm, again we would like to reiterate here, nobody would ever allow it to happen. But it would be too bad if, for convenience sake, wed again blame the government, who, we know has been riddled with inefficiency despite its apparent attempt to plug its holes.
In the case of Talibon, or Getafe, or Inabanga, Buenavista, or Clarin (all have complained about losing islets or sandbars in teh last decades, it should be known that the poachers really play catch and mouse here. The islets off Bohol's northern side again prove to be a convenient hideaway to poachers who illegally haul sand, in PUMPBOATS, to sell them to Mactan beach resorts.
Look at what happened to Macalingao Islet (sandbar) in Clarin, now under three feet of water.
In early 1990's, i witnessed two barge-ful load of sand from Anda which were supposedly hauled for Cebu beaches again. It was caught and has to be impounded.
We are still struggling to abate all these blatant attempts. In the age of cellular connection, we deem it easy, convenient and practical if people who see any of these attempts to just text or call their authorities? Barangay Captains are now a text away, and they all have the most direct responsibility to stop all these, them being the guardians of the resources at their immediate disposal.
I would rather suggest that people keep their barangay captain's mobile number and one from the Camp dagohoy Police hotline. Its 09209106240.
Your help is all we need.
