The governor was quite candid about it.
To solve the diminishing sand along the beachfront of Alona in Tawala, he proposed to borrow a dredger from Marra Construction to do the job.
To him, it is that simple. Tow the barge, dip its suction pumps down there where he said would all be sand because it has been simply washed out from the shorelines.
He said a well-known diver, a gud named Holger is providing him the underwater fotos where the suction pumps would suck sand.
And all to extend the beachline so that the occupant establishment encroaching the 20 meter public access zones can edge a bit and now be outside the banned public areas.
Along Alona stretch? where snorkelers get a satisfying peep at the coral cover near the beaches, they would be tampering with nature? Oh my!
why cant they kick out them assholes sitting on the beachfronts to clear the public access zones according to law?
Because they cant do it, "theyre getting the pier to come to the boat?"
And claiming it is for the environment? How ingenious.
What can you say?
