Should there be an age limit on political stations?
« on: September 26, 2007, 01:37:24 AM »
On regards to Bohol and the Philippines.

As I was home this past summer, my eyes were transfixed to the Filipino channel during the election 2007; specially in local government. I couldn't help but notice that there were many instances of young Filipino candidates winning office seats in the Senate and the Congress, as well as young candidates municipal seats, even instances of a priest winning a gobernatorial election.

So my question to you, my fellow Boholano compatriots, is what is your feeling on young candidates winning political seats? Should there be an age limit for offices of the mayor, governor, senator, congressional representative, and even President? If you do think there should be an age limit---please state your argument. If you dont think there should be an age limit---please state your argument.

This is an open forum, but please have the decency and honor of respecting each other's opinions and statements. Thank You, my fellow compatriots.
