Proposal: The Order of Tuasan Malea
« on: September 08, 2007, 09:31:19 PM »

The Order of Tuasan Malea will be for those individuals who have a knack of making things happen as intermediaries in negotiations.

Without Tuasan Malea, who acted as interpreter, the Blood Compact would not have happened.

We need an Order of Tuasan Malea for the Land acquisition in Panglao.

We need an Order of Tuasan Malea to negotiate a win-win deal for any exploitation of our provincial wealth, like Oil Reserve, Limestone, Copper...etc.

One must have Captain Jean-Luc Picard's wit and diplomacy (of USS Enterprise) and a cause of a Jedi Order (to fight for peace and justice). Mixture of startrek and starwars.

Bitaw kining mga movies kung imong analyzon ma apply baya ni sa real life. You just have to remove the special effects and its essence could be useful to reality.

The Jedi code could be used for the Order of Tuasan Malea:

Becoming a Jedi requires the most profound commitment and astute mind, as Jedi instruction is rigidly structured and codified to enforce discipline and hinder transgression. The Jedi Code is portrayed as being the central philosophy and dogma of the Jedi Knights. However, throughout all of these changes there was a central, core part of the code that remained the fundamental belief of a Jedi.

There is no emotion; there is peace.
There is no ignorance; there is knowledge.
There is no passion; there is serenity.
There is no chaos; there is harmony.
There is no death; there is the Force
There is no chaos; there is harmony

Furthermore;

Jedi are the guardians of peace in the galaxy.
Jedi use their powers to defend and protect, never to attack others.
Jedi respect all life, in any form.
Jedi serve others rather than ruling over them, for the good of the galaxy.
Jedi seek to improve themselves through knowledge and training.

Great info you shared there, Macky.

The Order of Tuasan Malea is slowly taking its shape.
The philosophy of the Jedi Code can very well be adopted by the new Order and customized further to meet the present and anticipated future needs.

I'm sure we will be getting more inputs from those with like minds.

You just have to change the Jedi to Tuasan Malea or TM or Maleans or Tuasans and the Galaxy change to BOHOL and thats it:

There is no emotion; there is peace.
There is no ignorance; there is knowledge.
There is no passion; there is serenity.
There is no chaos; there is harmony.
There is no death; there is the Force (life everlasting)

Furthermore;

TM's are the guardians of peace in BOHOL.
TM's use their abilities/skills/influence to defend and protect, never to take advantage/attack others specially the less fortunate.
TM's respect all life, in any form, like the fragile ecosystem of Bohol.
TM's serve others rather than ruling over them, for the good of the BOHOL.
TM's seek to improve themselves through knowledge, training, research education & ethical business practices.

Actually, when legaspi encountered the people of Bohol, it was like an encounter with alien civilization, where no European have ever been. So it needs a great amount of diplomacy to be built between two totally different culture.

Moreover, this Star War thing gives me a deep spiritual insight, a manifistation between good and evil.

I have researched this article about George Lucas, the writer of Star Wars as follows:

Dick Staub, author of Christian Wisdom of the Jedi Masters, in an interview with Christianity Today, said he feels "the Lucas story is more theologically attuned with Hinduism". George Lucas states he has been influenced by Christianity, Buddhism and other Indian religions in writing the Star Wars saga. Many Christian fans apparently connect the Force with the concept of the Holy Spirit.
