Always Providing Professional & Competent Representation with Courtesy & Respect
The law firm of Bogin, Munns & Munns was established more than thirty years ago in the spring of 1979. The three founders after whom the firm is named came together with like objectives and aspirations.
Bruce Bogin had practiced for a number of years with Maguire, Voorhis & Wells (which later merged with Holland & Knight) and Lowndes, Drosdick, Kantor, Reed. Ranier Munns had practiced with Maguire, Voorhis & Wells and the Akermann, Senterfit firm. Rulon Munns had practiced with the firm of Holland & Knight. All three had a vision of what Orlando would become in the years to follow. The founders also had a vision of the kind of law firm that would effectively serve the needs of the Orlando and Central Florida community.
This would be a law firm that treats its clients and employees with respect, dignity and fairness; that gives outstanding and responsive service; that strives to be extraordinarily competent in its work; a law firm that is free of bureaucracy and managed on business principles; and a law firm that is not afraid to let the public know who they are, what they stand for and the kind of work they do.
From rather humble beginnings, in 1979, BM&M went forward seeking to incorporate these important principles into its practice. In doing so, Bogin, Munns & Munns has never lost sight of its most compelling goal of providing innovative and comprehensive representation at a fair price.
To meet these objectives Bogin, Munns & Munns determined early on that it would not limit its practice to some narrowly defined specialty. It is the firm’s belief that a law firm can indeed offer first class representation in most areas of the legal practice, so that clients of all sizes and walks of life, whether corporate or individual, can be served under one roof. The key is having talented attorneys and staff who are dedicated to their chosen fields of practice.
Many law firms “claim†that they are “full service†law firms. But, in reality, many of these firms do not or will not handle certain types of cases, or cases that don’t arise to a specified level of economic interest, or clients who do not meet stringent criteria for approved representation. Bogin, Munns & Munns, on the other hand, practices in most all areas of the law and represents large Fortune 500 companies, as well as individuals of modest means. BM&M has worked hard over its thirty year life to develop the resources and talent necessary to accomplish its vision. With thirty attorneys and over one hundred total employees, Bogin, Munns & Munns is able to provide competent representation to its diverse client base with a high level of attention and responsiveness.
One of the more interesting facets of Bogin, Munns & Munns’s full service practice is the fact that it maintains a sophisticated and broad based corporate, real estate and tax practice, meeting the needs of its corporate clients, while at the same time representing victims of auto accidents and other negligence causes of action. Having a corporate practice and a plaintiff’s negligence practice under one roof is very unusual if not singularly unique in the legal community. In actuality, having such a broad based practice enhances the firm’s ability to represent both its corporate clients and individual clients. Having a large corporate, real estate and tax practice benefits the firm’s representation of individuals and all of their diverse needs and concerns. Representing the interests of individual clients, whether involved in a accident or affected by the negligence of a third party, enhances the firm’s ability to represent and defend its corporate clients when called upon to do so.
Bogin, Munns & Munns is one of the few firms that has successfully been able to effectively blend such a wide and diverse practice, where both its corporate and real estate clients are well served and the firm’s individual client needs can likewise be attended to without compromise. It is a credit to the outstanding and talented individuals who make up the BM&M team.
Bogin, Munns & Munns now has ten offices located in: Orlando, Clermont, Deltona, Kissimmee, Ocala, Daytona Beach, Melbourne, Gainesville, Leesburg, as well as The Villages with the main office in Orlando. Additional offices throughout Central Florida, including
Poinciana, and Palm Coast, among others, are planned.
With thirty attorneys, each of whom practices in a designated area of law, and nine offices, the firm is well positioned to provide the kind of service that the founders originally envisioned with respect to each of the areas of the firm’s practice and in each of the Central Florida communities in which Bogin, Munns & Munns has offices.
One last note: the attorneys and staff and Bogin, Munns & Munns thoroughly enjoy the practice of law; they enthusiastically embrace their work on a daily basis; and they are committed to serving their clients and providing them the assistance that they need and deserve. The founders, Ranier Munns and Rulon Munns, grew up in Orlando and have seen many changes in Central Florida. They believe that Central Florida is a great place to practice law and a wonderful community in which to raise a family. Bogin, Munns & Munns has a great future and will be a part of the Central Florida community for many years to come.
