Four members of the PNP’s Traffic Management Group (TMG) are facing charges for carnapping.
The complaints, now at the City Prosecutors Office were lodged by Handel Sarabosing and Isidoro Manalo, both residents of Dauis town, against P/Insp. Doroteo Tolentino, PO3 Jason Calimba, PO2 Edwin Santos and PO2 Eddie Maruhom.
The four policemen are all elements of the TMG regional office.
Sarabosing and Manalo are suing the TMG operatives for carnapping for seizing their vehicles as these were allegedly stolen from its original owners.
The complainants, who are represented by lawyer Salvador Diputado, will likewise file administrative charges against the policemen.
In his complaint-affidavit, Sarabosing bared that last September 19, while driving his Mitsubishi Adventure with plate number AHB 423, he was flagged down by PO2 Santos along CPG Avenue corner B. Inting Street.
