This week a monthly meeting was held with Bohol's foreigner group some interesting concerns arised despite the group not having a lead conversationalist.
The most tourism officails had been notifeid but no one wanted to reply to a text message or answer their cell phones when an invitation to help at the meeting was being asked.
Why is that since we have so many persons here who are public officails tied into tourism and foreigners here in Bohol but no one wants to put it into gear to talk to the friendly group?
Some concerns came from male members of the group regarding Filipina who go to the hotel with foreigner men they actually age 15 and under minor age then when the foreigner meets the family a relative will take them aside and say "Hey what are you doing with her she is just 15 years old?"
Since the beginning of the year no one knows what mayor wants and no one not even Filipino business owners are having businesses permits to operate a business. This has caused many foreigners to move out of Bohol and into provinces with friendlier and more reasonable city policies.
Some home owners and land owners have not received tax payment returns on their properties and a meeting was held last month between business owners and nothing seemed to get resolved from such a meeting.
Despite the things going on here the foreigners admit they they still enjoy living in Bohol.
