I think her mistakes, which she humbly and readily admit, was already pointed out in the article.

Hope we can all believe in Ms. Bea and support the causes she believed in.

The Cafe in the Dauis Convent is very well done.  Lovely outdoor area, excellent food and some unique gifts in the adjoining shop.  They should advertise it a bit more to get the custom that it deserves - maybe put a sign on the main road into Dauis pointing the way to the Cafe / Giftshop.

to maximize customers, the management of this cafe that they have established in the gorund floor of the catholic rectory in dauis town can certainly advertise its existence thru signages - as ben here suggests - or thru media outlets (radio, print, TV, internet). this place should not be marketed as a place that caters to tourists but as a cafe and gift shop that caters to everyone. i'm certain a lot of people from tagbilaran or even from other neighboring towns would love to hang out if they are in the mood for a nice and quiet place with great food and good service. they should not close the place when "the nuns go back to their cells", if you get my drift.

yes - after all it's better value than Bo's and they get mainly local custom (albeit from bigatin!)

you're right, ben. when we went there last december, we almost got lost because there were no signages leading to the rectory.

i think they ran an ad in the bohol chronicle. im not sure if it is still there.

we're also scheduling catered candle-lit dinner and concerts with the Loboc children's Choir or Loboc Children's Alumni Choir, (which ever is available) at the Bishop Gorordo Sala at the Dauis Convent.

Dauis convent staff has been trained in a Manila 5 star hotel and you could go for fine dining (perhaps the only one in Bohol). Sparkling crystal, silver, choral music and Boholano Food presented in atractive servings.

But this is inclusive in a Bohol Arts Appreciation tour, a tour package developed by the Metropolitan Museum of Manila.

gec, the loboc youth ambassador band performs every friday and saturday evening in loboc.

i dont know why the loboc childrens choir is not available though at the time that i visited loboc, they were there because it was the opening of the alfonso uy promenade aka hanging gardens of loboc.

i have done it with irene marcos, another family who owns the del monte group and one with the negrense hacienderos. Mahal pa lang jud kay high end tour man gud.
