Arroyo's Fertilizer Scam is Actually Worth 3 Billion Pesos

from the Philippine Daily Inquirer

A MEDIA practitioner was murdered in front of her family when she exposed the so-called “fertilizer scam.” Former Solicitor General Frank Chavez filed a case against those involved but failed to bring them to justice.

A Rotarian in the person of Joc-Joc Bolante is widely perceived to have been recruited and used by another Rotarian in the person of former First Gentleman Mike Arroyo to siphon off fertilizer funds into the 2004 presidential campaign of Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. The whole operation was consummated with the help of other Department of Agriculture officials.

Do you know how much the fertilizer fund was? If you don’t know, you better ask Edgardo Angara. But don’t bother. All in all, it amounted to about P3 billion. Correct?

Prosecute those involved in the fertilizer scam. This citizen looks forward to seeing them behind bars.

Romans 10:9-10
"If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."
