(SPOT.ph) Seven Filipinos have been suspected of stealing a diamond-and-emerald necklace with an estimated worth of US$1 million in Istanbul, Turkey, reports ABS-CBN News. Citing the news site Today's Zaman, ABS-CBN reports that the suspects allegedly stole the necklace from the Zela Jeweler booth at the 32nd Istanbul Jewelry Expo last month.

The suspects reportedly flew to Dubai after the heist and went back to the Philippines. Six of them were identified through security camera footage: Janice Apostol, Armando Fajardo, Edgardo Ramos, Cesar Galvez, Rosita Panlilio and Herbie Cruz.

According to Today's Zaman, some of the suspects supposedly distracted the employee that manned the booth, while one provided cover and another served as the lookout person. Apostol and Panlilio reportedly entered and exited the jewelry expo's security checkpoints frequently to distract the security guards.

Immigration officers in Turkey supposedly "became stricter to Filipinos entering the country" after the heist, reports ABS-CBN News.

Ang mga pakistani tawon pag gawas sa erport nag hambin sa ilaha mga sanina kay guba naman ilha malita kay suspect sila nga drug traffickers mao guba jud ilaha mga bag o malita . Basin ugma basta Filipino musulod sa ubang nasod ilaha na ni himoon. Bisan asa nga nasud karon naay Filipino nga nanga priso as a drug traffickers.labi na sa South America.daghan naman diay naa sa prisohan. The government must do something about this problems.Maghuwat paba diay ang mga goberno ug ang treat natung mga pinoy sa laing nasud pareho na sa mga Pakistani? nga mga drug traffickers.unya huboan ta para inspeksyonon?basta Filipino kay suspetsa nila naa ta dala drugs?
