Woman arrested for perjury in Tagbilaran City
TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol 2018 PNP File - A woman was arrested by the Tagbilaran City police on Friday afternoon for perjury.
The suspect was identified as Jojelyn May Kilat, 29, a resident of Colorado Homes in Barangay Guiwanon, Baclayon town.
According to the Tagbilaran City police chief Supt. Patricio Degay Jr., Kilat was arrested at the New Capitol Site in Cogon District around 3:20 p.m. by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Laebeth Varquez of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities Branch 1.
The warrant was issued on September 24 under criminal case number 19935 with a cash bail bond of P18,000.
Kilat was accused of making false statements under oath in a legal proceeding.
She was released from the custody of the Tagbilaran City police station after posting bail as per the release order signed by Judge Varquez with official receipt number 0951881C.
