The lovable Sesame Street characters Bernie, Ernie, and Elmo, all originally from the US, will visit Island City Mall on December 4, Friday, from 10 AM to 3 PM, at the Activity Center, in a mall tour dubbed as "Growing Up with Sesame Street."
Presented by Viva Video, Inc., the Sesame Street Mall Tour also features a magic show, games and raffle of giveaways for the kids, dance number, free Henna tattoo, Glitter tattoo, face painting, film showing, photo session with the mascots and a lot more. Kids and the whole family can take part in any of the fun-filled activities for every purchase of any Sesame Street video products, which are distributed locally by Viva Videos and are available in video retail chains and outlets around
the Philippines.
Sesame Street is the longest running children's show on US television, and well known for its playful puppets created by Jim Henson, father of the legendary "Muppet Show."
It premiered on November 10, 1969, and became an international phenomenon for children's television, running all the way through 140 countries around the world. Aimed at children aged two to six, the series has earned 122 Emmy Awards.
The legendary educational puppet program, which taught generations of children the basics of reading, writing and counting, celebrates its 40th anniversary this month with a guest appearance from US First Lady Michelle Obama.
