Richli Corporation has started to expand the reach of its water services across Tagbilaran City as development works of its facilities remained in full blast, gradually boosting potable-household water supply in the province’s capital.

According to Richli vice president for communications Elmer Lim, they continued their pipe-laying works in Barangay Manga and later start the same operations in the villages of Tip-Tip, Dampas and Cogon.

“Mo sugod na pud ta somewhere sa Banat-i tiilan. Mga next two weeks, naa nay tubig nato diha,” said Lim. “Maybe January 1st naa na ta dapit sa Cogon.”

Richli earlier started to offer its services to a few residents of the city particularly in Barangay Mansasa.

“Gasugod na ta og Tagbilaran, somewhere in Mansasa. Naa na tay mga customer diha, mga subscriber…mga three months na,” he said.

The water service provider is directly channeling supply to Mansasa from Barangay Patrocinio in Cortes where its source and water treatment facility are located.

Richli however will soon allot a water reservoir which is currently under construction in the adjacent village of Barangay Libertad, Baclayon that will cater to the needs of the city.

The facility, with a capacity of 2,000 cubic meters, is expected to be completed in April, 2020.

According to Lim, their water supply is treated and of better quality making it safe for human consumption.

“Ni-agi og laboratory g’yud ning ato, different product ta. Dretso na inom. Approved to ug monitored sa DOH (Department of Health). Popareha ta og quality grade sa refilling station,” he said.

According to Engr. Peter Busano, Office of the Tagbilaran City Waterworks System chief, Richli’s entry into the industry will benefit residents in the city, where some areas are still not being provided with 24-hour water services.

 The establishment of the new water service provider is also seen to help meet the growing water supply demand in the city, he said. (A. Doydora)
