Is it too late for Candidate No. 6?
« on: July 12, 2007, 04:46:39 PM »
Here's Candidate No. 6, if Mr. Admin still allows nominations.  She's hippieinchains - a free spirit swept away from Bohol by need and wanderlust and now enlisted in Uncle Sam's army.

And here's a more exposed look at her, this time with her friend George at left.  (To prevent any ensuing scandal, I have asked expressly for her permission to post these pictures.)

There is a reason why I allowed my pictures to be posted in this forum. The last time I went home I noticed how body concious everybody is. I am all for looking and feeling good but I don't think it should be at the expense of; 1.) your health and, 2.) the confidence of the people around you.

So, people have different body structures. It happens. Get over it. Don't make anybody feel bad because they can't fit into the kiddie section in Shoppers Mart. A woman's body should showcase her personality. That is beauty. Being yourself and being confident about it. Nobody gets remembered for trying to fit the mold. To make an imprint, you should make the mold. What better way to do so than to be yourself!

Hippie, I admire your openness about this matter. It's nice to know that you've gotten out from the box.

Hope to see more military images from you.

I don't know about the military images. I have to wear these damn things enough as it is. I don't need to be posting them around. Don't want to give everybody the impression that I'm some sort of G.I. (gigil intawon, lol) Jane. Like most young people, I am still trying to find my nitch and I don't need the added association. Not sayng that I don't like where I am and what I do, I just want to be able to move from one chapter of my life to the next without being "typed casted" (unsay pagtuo, Hollywod?)

That I am. I'm at crossroads right now. The military life is good for a single soldier but I feel like it's about time for a career change.

My problem is that I want to do everything. I realize that my lola was right when she told me that I can be anything that I want ot do as long as i stay on track. I can either go into Journalism for the Army. The only thing is that I feel that I won't have the freedom to write what I like and how I like. So I ruled that out. I can be a teacher. I love mentoring and trying to guide younger people. It is very rewarding. I also want to go into interior design. That sounds like something that I want to do just because I like it.

This may make me sound like a big flake but this is me right now. Confused but not quite lost yet. I know that when the time is right, I will get to where I need to go. Kind of like a subway.

I had to look twice I almost thought my eyesight was going bad on me and realized it is your handsome bamboo.

I love Bamboo tree's we use to have them outside our restaurant in the states. then Cambell soup bought the building for a few pennies back in the 70's and took away the tree's and made pizza there.

Currently it is now transformed into a local credit union.

the only place to find a bamboo anywhere in my home town is near the cashier at the local Thai restaurant. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

George, has grown up now and, unfortunately, has set his roots in Germany and won't be joining hippieinchains at her new assignment. :(  Kids, they grow up so fast. :(
