The
Inter-purok and Commercial Basketball Tournament, one of the city's summer premier presentation closes its curtain next week at the hardcourt of the Dao multi-purpose center with Bohol's top gubernatorial bet Edgar Migriño Chatto as guest of honor.
This year's edition dubbed as Chatto Cup will start its cross-over games today with the Nisa Travellers/Park N' Go Bakeshop going up against Pure N' Rite at 7:30 tonight.
This will be followed by Chery's Automobile vs Classique Herb encounter.
The winners in the knockout games will automatically advance to the finals on Wednesday in a best-of-three series. The losers will dispute for third place on Friday in a do-or-die battle.
Game 2 is set on April 27. The date of Game 3 (if necessary) will be announced by tournament organizers before the month ends. Lawyer and Bohol's top sports patron Chatto will award the winners in the inter-purok and commercial level. A top cash prize of P25,000 will go to the champion team, P15,000 for the first runner-up and P10,000 for third.
Dao PB Atoy Cosap will introduce the guest of honor.
