Still rearing to serve and eyeing for a re-election, Poblacion 2 kagawad Roberto “Batchoy†Alba is envisioning a construction of a multi-purpose building as his legacy to his constituents.
In a resolution approved by the barangay council, Alba is requesting the Office of Senator Loren Legarda financial assistance of P3,166,128.54 for the construction of a multi-purpose building.
Barangay Poblacion 2 in the City of Tagbilaran has become a fast-growing urban area and is located in the heart of the city. Under the dynamic leadership of barangay chairman Glorivic Yap-De la Serana, the barangay has adopted a policy in governance of giving priority to the development of the youth through sports and preservation of community values through cultural programs and activities.
The barangay has now acquired a lot for such facility and has apportioned the same for a Multi-Purpose Building.
The City Engineer’s Office has also completed its Bill of Materials and Cost Estimates, Blue Print and Perspective View for the project.
Alba said he is optimistic that Sen. Legarda will support the project since the people and officials of Barangay Poblacion 2 has manifested its strong trust and confidence in the lady Senator’s advocacy on youth development and community building.
