The Phoenix Suns and the Dallas Mavericks involved in an blockbuster trade late in the regular season.Sacrificing their teams chemistry and system. Suns send All Star SF Marion to Miami in exchange with Shaq. Same as Dallas did they send rising star PG Harris to NJ Nets in exchange w/ Ex-Maverick Jason Kidd.
The reason of trade???

They want size in their line up. They want Shaq to dominate the post. That means Amare will take his TRUE spot as a Power Forward. Recalling last Western Conf. Playoff against the Spurs. The Suns cannot contain Spurs Superstar Tim Duncan. They believe that Shaq was the missing puzzle for winning a Championship. Steve Kerr is wrong..
The problem is:
1. Shaq is now old..He has no enough Diesel left on his tank.
2. Can't adopt to the Suns System (RUn n Gun), hes legs can't run. Suns offense is mostly coming from a fastbreak points.
3. They forgot that it is not just Tiddy who is the Star in the Spurs,.Manu Sixth Man of the Year, Parker, Finals MVP.
Remedy:

I felt sorry for this team. They were last years best team in the Nba. They appeared on Finals two years ago. And now 2 consecutive 1st round playoff exit.
Damn, they (the Mavs) blame Coach Avery Johnson, Johnson got fired just today.

The reason for the defeat is lack of playmaking, they got at that time Harris/Terry as a point guard. When crucial game happens like 1:00 minute to go in the 4th quarter then Dallas is trailing by 1 point. They always panic, no one can stood and lead. They want that veteran who can lead the team. Thats why Jason Kidd brought to the team.
The problem:
Well, they just destroy the team. The role of a Point Guard is to dictate the tempo of the game. I am not against the KIdd-Harris trade.BUT trade happened late in the regular season. Kidd cannot just automatically can adopt/learn the Mavs system. Thats why Jkidd is struggling. In NJ Nets he always go on a triple double game performance. And now in dallas "i hate to say this" he was just a garbage..
Remedy:
Next season the Mavs will have a new coach. A New coach=A new System for them....
