Kanang abucay baryo sa Sikatuna. Kung gikan ka sa Corella mao na sija unang baryo. Kung gikan pod ka sa Loboc mao na sija katapusan nga baryo.. Unja ra kay mag post ko diri ug mapa sa abucay unja among butangan ug asa mi pojo..

I visited my Barrio Bahay bahay Nil, mingaw na kaayo a big different before. Usa sa ako na obserbahan sa atua kay wala nay mga mag uuma. Tinuod naglusot lusot na ang kalsada sa kasuok sukan bahin sa Barrio ug dili na lisod ang pagtumod ngadto sa Lungsod o bisan pa ngadto sa City sa unsa mang abot didito sa bukid but the thing is nobody is interested to work in the farm anymore. I make a survey adtong akong mga nailhan nga mga farmers duol sa amo balay sa Bahay bahay ug wala ni bisan usa anak nila nga nisunod pagtrabaho sa bukid. I think our Goverment should take a look, ining umaabot nga problema. Basin ato tanan kinahanglanon pulos na import.... Anyway just a thought.

Yes, Nday Basi is in Germany. Also her two sisters are there. They all married Germans. Nday was here last June for the fiesta. I will secure her address for you. We will also ask Madam Bambi if she knows the place.

Korek imo observation Lin. You are in the best position to see the difference because of the length of time that you have been away from home. Not much for me because I go there often.
Dili pareha sa ato panahon nga ang atong ginikanan kulatahon ta ug di ta mo adto sa basak. Farming was a necessity then because if we dont wala tay kan-on. I know we share the same experience. And I'm sure what drove you to go for white collar job is because we donot want to be farmers for life. But now lahi na ang mga batan-on kay porma ray gadaghan. Walay abot, wala pod sud utok. Maayo unta ug nangeskwela aron ma propesyonal pero wala man pod.
So, I'm seeing the same basis of your concern. Our younger generations are no longer interested to work in the farm; but they are not professionals either. So what will we make out of them in the future?
I don't think our local government can solve this, kay ug imo tanawon ang atong mga lokal opisyal, mga Grade VI ra man pod intawon.
Ato lang jud ni agwantahon.
