Robin's only wish for brother Rustom

Brothers Robin Padilla and BB Gandanghari may have not yet spoken to each other. But Robin says he will always love and respect his brother even if he gets a sex change.
 
“Ang pagmamahal hindi mawawala, laging andiyan ang pagmamahal. Kapatid ko iyan eh,” Robin said in an interview at the press conference of Men’s Health magazine on Thursday, January 11.
 
Robin still calls his brother Rustom, not BB. The former admits missing Rustom. But he respects him despite the change in his appearance.
 
“Oo naman. At mas matanda siya sa akin. Usapin lang iyan ng prinsipyo. Ang prinsipyo, puwedeng isantabi iyan kapag ang pinag-uusapan ay pamilya.”

Robin also shared that his family is not against Rustom’s transformation.
 
“Kanya kanyang prinsipyo tayo sa buhay. Trip niya iyon, masaya siya doon, eh ‘di bahala siya. Kami, masaya kami dito. Pero siyempre kapag may nangyari sa kapatid mo, ikaw ang unang pupunta doon. Wala nang basagan ng trip ngayon. Ang tatanda na natin, may basagan pa ng trip?”
 
Although they don’t see each other, Robin maintains he and BB are not fighting and he’ll always be there for him.
 
“Wala namang problema. Ang baduy naman niyan, magkakapatid may problema? Alam mo sa magkakapatid, hindi niyo naman kailangang araw-araw magkita. Ang importante diyan, kapag kailangan ka, nandoon ka. Minsan naman lagi kang nandoon, nakakaistorbo ka pala.”
 
Robin’s only wish for BB is for his safety.
