A very happy John Estrada told ABS-CBN.com that the preparations for his February wedding with Priscilla Meirelles are underway. And now that he’s done taping Agua Bendita, the actor will be flying to Brazil to meet his fiancée’s parents, family, and relatives at the end of the month. When asked how he feels that her parents really approve of him as their future son-in-law, John cheerfully replied, “Hindi naman botong-boto. Siguro wala lang silang choice. Hahaha! Hindi, hindi. Isa lang masasabi ko, ang swerte ko para maging parte ng pamilya niya. Hindi lang yung supportive e, but they're very good people.”

John further shared that the fact that he’s settling down with Priscilla shouldn’t be a big surprise because he has always taken his relationships seriously. “Sabi ko nga dati hindi naman ako nagka-girlfriend ng hindi seryosohan. Para saan pa ‘di ba? If you get into a relationship, of course you want the relationship to last and humantong sa kasalan. Meron talagang ibang relasyon na maghihiwalay kayo. But with Priscilla, [alam kong siya ang babaeng pakakasalan ko] dahil nakita ko sa kanya yung pagiging down-to-earth, napakabait at walang karate-arte sa katawan.” He also mentioned that Priscilla has a very good relationship with his kids.

At 37 years-old, John is still considered a desirable leading man. When asked how he resists temptation, John was quick to say that he’s not the playboy that some people believe him to be. “Paano i-resist? Kagatin mo dila mo at pumikit ka na lang. Hahaha! Hindi, ako naman e hindi na papatalo [sa temptation]. Ipaubaya na natin sa mga bata ‘yan. Well, that’s their impression (that he’s a playboy), wala ako magagawa dun. At kung tumingin pa sila sa dinami-dami ng artista, baka wala ako dun sa three-fourths na babaero,” he exclaimed.

If there’s anything that he could promise Priscilla though, what would it be? “She knows it already. Wala naman akong ‘di pa siguro nasabi sa kanya. ‘Don’t worry be happy, I’ll take care of you.’ Yun na lang,” he beamed. - source: ABS-CBN
