Hunk actor Dingdong Dantes refuses to comment about being considered for a government position for the incoming Aquino administration.

An official offer is yet to be made by soon-to-be president-elect Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, who in a previous interview revealed his desire to appoint Dingdong in a youth-centered post.

Albeit flattered, the Kapuso star told “24 Oras” on June 8: “Bago ko buksan ang isang bagay na ‘yan, kailangan talaga munang mapag-usapan nang maayos ‘yan. Like I said, ayokong magkaron ng premature statement about that because it is a very important and delicate subject eh so siyempre gusto kong maging handa sa mga ganyang bagay, kung sakali mang sasagutin ko siya.”

The 29-year old chairman of the youth-oriented Yes Pinoy Foundation said that for the meantime, he will concentrate working on his showbiz projects, including a film and his new drama series with real-life sweetheart Marian Rivera, “Endless Love.”
