United Cannabis Society (UCS), a non-profit organization that is committed to a sustainable Earth, celebrates Canna Organix as a 2020 recipient of the United Cannabis Society Award in the Grower category. A leader in Washington’s cannabis industry, Canna Organix was awarded as a Grower by UCS for their organic farming practices and standards. Other qualifications for the UCS Grower Award include a commitment to producing cannabis with no pesticides and toxins in the finished flower and producing exclusive flowers that are superior in taste and quality, which Canna Organix has now been recognized for. Canna Organix are also winners of several Hightimes Cannabis Cups, Dope Cups and Sun Cup Awards.

Canna Organix began as a venture among four friends who turned curiosity for a plant into a passion and profession. The company is different from other growers as they follow an organic model and grow in a hybrid "sungrown indoor" environment, where they utilize the sun, but also have fully climate controlled greenhouses to protect the crop from the harsh elements and allows them to dial in the environment perfectly for each cultivar. All plants receive daily human interaction, hand-watering instead of an automated system, and are always under careful watch. Their growing medium is used again and again, constantly being renewed with organic matter, rather than being thrown out after every crop. They say the soil only gets better overtime.
Announced earlier in 2020, the UCS Award pays homage to businesses and leaders committed to sustainable and organic cannabis practices. Along with The Grower award, additional UCS Award categories include The Provider, The Creator, and The Leader.
