The satellite images, which were taken in October, showed a clear line dug through the desert and the set up of offices for the engineering team and workers.
“Work is already quite advanced on the infrastructure to support The Line, with world-renowned architects designing the initial sections, vertical spaces, and layers for the first residents,” said The Line's executive director, Giles Pendleton.
The 170-kilometre-long, 500-metre-tall city is designed to house nine million people.
It is one of a series of projects that make up the $500 billion Neom project.
