BBC News - IVF patient: 'Fertility clinic lost my embryos'
The number of mistakes made at IVF clinics in England and Wales has nearly doubled in 12 months.

Figures obtained by the BBC, from the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA), show that the number of reported incidents and near misses rose from 182 in 2007/2008 to 334 in 2008/2009.

This is despite the fact that the number of IVF cycles has remained the same at around 50,000 per year.

After years of trying for a baby naturally, Clare and her husband went for IVF treatment on the NHS at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff, but things didn't go quite to plan.

IVF Wales at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff says that their "success rate in recovering embryos is amongst the highest in the world and that all incidents are reported to the HFEA."

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

This is a rather interesting presentation, there are rather many factors for this, and one that i can think of right now would be the increase in IVF procedures in the past decade, which would be the practical reason for the increased cases of IVF mishaps. The latter reason could be a deviation from proper IVF protocol.

Thanks for the input tho, this is interesting to read about.
