Raquel, am glad that you find it interesting, too.
A group of us began an OMM practical this month, actually. The reason why we're interested is because we are students of an allopathic medical school (M.D)
And they don't really go into detail or teach us about OMM and other neo-classical philosophies that are taught in Osteopathic schools or chiropractics.
So what we've been doing, lol, is actually learning ourselves with the help of our anatomy instructor (who was a licensed chiropractor in India, while being a medical professor). So during exam weeks, a group of us (4-5) try new techniques on ourselves. Mostly small high velocity therapy. I personally like the scapula/shoulder massage as it' a great stress reliever.
Another thing we've tried to experiment on this last week was on podiatric massage. "Foot" massage. And do believe me when I say, "It Works". By placing the medial aspect of the metacarpo-phalangeal in clenched position and applying circular force of action on the sole of the foot.
