SAN DIMAS, CALIF. (PRWEB) SEPTEMBER 09, 2019
Sedaru announced today that it has been selected by the City of North Las Vegas, NV Utilities Department, to deploy the Sedaru software as its enterprise operational asset management system, inclusive of comprehensive work order management and enterprise integrations for water & sewer system assets. This agreement between Sedaru and the Utilities Department was awarded after an extensive RFP process, including business case evaluations and technology vetting by both end user and IT stakeholders. Sedaru Implementation Services will train and deploy the software to approximately 50 users including field staff, superintendents, management, dispatch center staff, and other O&M and engineering staff.
The selection of Sedaru by the Utilities Department was based on the “ease of use from the field technician graphical interface, dashboard organization, report generation, outage notification, route planning, and integration with our other software, to locate work orders, safety plans, asset history, and inventory from a device in the field,” as per Joemel D. Llamado, P.E., Acting Director of Utilities, from Council Report #16, June 19, 2019.
The Utilities Department will deploy Sedaru OMNI

(Operations Management & Network Intelligence) as its real-time business operating platform to monitor, dispatch, track, trend, and report-on alerts, work, and work orders from across the O&M department and connected 3rd party systems. Sedaru Connect will integrate the Department’s Esri GIS, Wonderware SCADA, Advanced Utility System’s CIS Infinity, and USA DigAlert into Sedaru OMNI for water distribution and sewer collection system events, delivering a single end user experience to access and take action on data from across the organization. Sedaru Fieldforce will be deployed to the Department’s field staff for enterprise field data collection, preventative and corrective maintenance. Sedaru Outage will facilitate real-time pipeline leak and break response and support pipeline shutdowns, while calculating water loss. Sedaru CIP will facilitate the Department’s harnessing data from the Sedaru platform to dynamically predict and prioritize pipeline replacement projects to maximize ROI, driven by LoF, CoF, user-defined budgets, construction constraints, and the utility’s latest data.
“Sedaru’s selection helps charter a path for the Utilities Department of the City of North Las Vegas’ digital utility by accruing its digital footprint in Sedaru, allowing the platform’s operational asset management functionality to enable continuously improving business efficiency for the Department,” said Paul Hauffen, President & CEO of Sedaru, Inc. “We look forward to working hand-in-hand with the City Utilities Department to advance their utility transformation with real-time, predictive analytics and enhanced access to its enterprise systems.”
