Did you know that the body is composed of over 100 Trillion Cells?

Most of these cells regrow vis-a-vis mitosis.

Interesting aspect of Cellular Biology,

Erythrocytes have within their chromosomes, which are present in the nucleolus and nucleus of eukaryotic erythrocytes--the promotor for complete and total genetic transcription, translation, elongation, endonucleatic repair, mutation repair and excision.

Cellular Immortality.

Except for germs like viruses and bacteria, just about every other
living thing on Earth is made of cells. This is probably why cells are
called the building blocks of life.
All human body cells are covered by a membrane. This layer
holds the contents of the cell in just like the sides of a container. The
membrane lets good things, like nutrients, into the cell. It also keeps
bad things, like germs and bacteria, out.

Depends on the level of damage. Regeneration is possible, so long as the oligodendrocytes, astrocytes, ependymal cells and or the schwann cells are not totally cleaved by trauma.
