Organs still short as donors rise

Almost a million more people in the UK signed up as organ donors last year - a rise of 7%, according to the Organ Donation Taskforce. However, the Taskforce also says the number of people needing transplant surgery is increasing at a greater rate, so there is still an urgent need for more donors.
