hostile. i know my cats. they don't stand (on their hind legs) if they're friendly. they simply smell and clean each other. this one's getting ready for a catfight, on the defensive, keeping each other at paw's length. and their ears! when cat ears tilt backward, prepare. those ears speak of wars to come. but there's a balance of power here, unlike the philippines and a rampaging 800-lb gorilla of a neighboring country wanting to make a bathtub out of the west philippine sea.
