Good place to view the world pass you by...
But their plain brewed coffee is too soft for me... it needs some more kick to meet my expectations.

The price is for the elite lang, GEC.

If you work in Alturas, tindog ka tibuok adlaw, imong sweldo P90 pesos - kuhaan sa plete, kaon, load sa cellphone ( ;D ), peso na mabilin inig abot sa balay.

Lingi ka sa Bo's Cafe. P60 ang kape. This is what you will think: "Magsangag nalang ko ug mais."  :D

Hi Mike!

We've been there almost everyday...they have the best brewed coffee ever tasted in Tagbilaran. Before we used to stay besides at the BUZZZ Cafe owned by Mrs. Vicky Wallace.  Well the price is quite expensive, you can take with you your laptop for 100 Pesos per hour  to surf the internet.  My  husband loves to stay there while I went around for shopping. That was our TB members  meeting place, where Sigbin appeared with his "sinugbang baboy" for our Beach outing.

Ka mahal pud anang 60 pesos per cup of coffee oi. Tinuod jud, magsangag nalang ko'g mais, mas lami pa. Pila na ka kilong bugas ma palit anang 60 pesos.

Mao jod C2H4, they have Europian prices.  I noticed, the guests are mostly tourists and resident foriegners.

I didn't stop by Bo's during my trip there in 2006 but from what I read here, it seems like the prices are for foreigner's wallet. When I converted it to a dollar it's about a buck and few cents, so it's not that bad.

But for the locals, that's when it become pretty pricey for them.

pero Mike tinuod ka lami ang sinangag nga mais, very native authentic taste gyud sya, plain and simple.

Beth and Mike, sinangag na mais bya ang among kape sa una.  Kadumdum jud ko adto mag sangag si mommy sa mais sa ijang buak na kun tapos halos baga ra jud tong gapa init sa kun sa may dapog.  Mao dayon to galingon sa among all-purpose galingan.  Mao na dayon to gamiton sahay mag himo'g tinunghong kong way sud-an.  Life was so simple then.  Someday pohon, mag buhat ko'g fancy cafe with mais na kape as one choice in the menu. :)
